Dr. Katie was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She attended
undergrad at Luther College and the University of Iowa and graduated
from the
University of Iowa College of Dentistry
with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Katie and her husband
Jon live in Cedar Rapids and enjoy being Hawkeye fans, home improvement
projects, weekend trips, running and taking their dachshunds for
walks. They have 2 children Hendrik and Ruby. Katie is
excited to be providing conservative dental care in Cedar Rapids and the
surrounding communities and is looking forward to building life long
relationships with her patients.
Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Briana, I am Dr. Katie Milden's dental assistant. I
graduated August of 2014 with my degree in Dental Assisting. I have been
apart of Dr. Katie's team since August of 2015. I was born and raised in a
small town in Missouri. I currently live in Marion with my husband, Andy.
We have a daughter named Charlotte, a dog named Pat and cat named Scotty.
I like spending my spare time watching Netflix, taking naps and being with
family and friends.
Hygienists
Hi, my name is Sara. I received my Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Kirkwood Community
College. I have my license in the State of Iowa for Dental
Hygiene and Local Anesthesia. Before graduating with my degree,
I was a dental assistant for 8 years. I enjoy helping my
patients and treating them like family. I am married to my
husband Eric and we have 2 children, Reid and Allie. I also have
4 dogs, Rigby (Cockapoo) , Carley (Maltipoo), Lucy (Goldendoodle) and
Zoey (Goldendoodle) In my spare time I enjoy working in
my yard and being with my family and friends.
Hi, my name is Dana. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Carl
Sandburg College in 2013 and have since practiced in the
Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. I joined Dr. Milden's practice in June
2020 and am very proud to be a part of her team. I enjoy being a dental
hygienist because I get to help people feel more confident about their
oral health. I was born and raised in Southeast Iowa and now live in
Cedar Rapids. I have two sons, Channing and Drake, ages 14 and 4. In my
spare time I enjoy sprucing up my home, walking my dogs and spending as
much time w/ family and friends that I can.
Office Administrator
Hello, my name is Sara. I have been working with Dr. Katie since 2014
as her office administrator. It is my goal to uphold a friendly and
welcoming enviornment for all our patients. I am the go-to-gal for all
scheduling, insurance needs, and all inquiries you may have to make
your visit with our office an enjoyable one. In my spare time, I enjoy
spending time with my son Mac. I love watching him play baseball and
cheering on the NY Yankees!
